About Agon
Agon Bexheti was a PhD student, research and teaching assistant at the Faculty of Informatics at the University of Lugano (USI), Switzerland, from January 2014 to July 2019. He obtained a MSc in Communication Systems from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) in September 2013. For his master studies, he was awarded a Swiss Government scholarship. He wrote his master thesis at the Wearable Computing Lab of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich). Together with his master thesis supervisor, he managed to publish parts of his work in one workshop and three conference papers. In 2012, he did a six months technical internship at The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, Switzerland. His main responsibility was to develop software for the audio/visual team. Moreover, in 2011, he did a semester project with Nokia Research Center in Lausanne working on the development of a monitoring tool for detecting data usage policy violations.
Research interests
Agon’s research is in secure human memory augmentation systems preserving privacy of users. Moreover, his research interests also include blockchain, Internet-of-things (IoT), machine learning, user experience design and prototyping.
