About Ivan

Ivan Elhart is a PhD student and a research and teaching assistant at the Faculty of Informatics at the University of Lugano (USI), Switzerland, since May 2010. Ivan received a master degree (Diploma) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia, in 2006, and a master degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, USA, in 2009. From 2004 to 2006 he was an intern at Novi Sad Institute for Information Technologies where he worked on projects involving the design and development of high-definition television sets. Starting in the fall of 2006, he spent three years as a research assistant at the University of New Hampshire working on projects which focused on the digital data communication for law enforcement agencies.

Research interests

Ivan’s research interests are in the area of privacy-preserving data mining, context sensing and digital object memory.
